K9sROCK founder Aimee Hyatt was raised in Philadelphia and has had a passion for animals since she owned her first cat as a child. This was the beginning of a parade of pets that would become members of the Hyatt household.
After high school, Aimee moved to California and quickly landed a job in the entertainment industry where she worked for a number of renowned personal managers before securing a position at Shapiro/West & Associates. For 18 years she's worked with the management firm that represents Jerry Seinfeld and Executive Producers of one the greatest comedy series of all time... Seinfeld.
In 2003, a special someone came into Aimee's life, Shayna, a beautiful Cavalier King Charles. While shopping in Malibu, Aimee and Shayna found some retro rock n' roll t-shirts, but none were available for Shayna. Aimee's moment of inspiration had arrived, "a line of Concert t-shirts for dogs."
Tragically, soon afterwards, Shayna suffered a serious accident, and after bravely fighting for her life, passed on. As a loving tribute to Shayna, and a way for Aimee to cope with her loss, Shayna Mania - K9sROCK was born. "This special little girl brought me back to my true passion of art and design and she gave me a clear direction."
K9sROCK celebrates the memory of my Shayna and her spirit, and invites every dog and their companion to share that love, humor and passion, says Aimee.
